When Larry Miller, 42, went in to the Pan American Bank in Miami, Fla., he needed help getting in — Miller uses a wheelchair, and a bank employee held the door for him. Miller rolled up to a teller and handed her a paper bag and a note announcing a robbery and demanding $1,500. She handed the bag back with money in it, but “When he came to the door, he suddenly realized he only had $200 and became very agitated and started cussing,” a police spokesman said. Miller only made it across the street before a security guard stopped him. Miller, who has previous robbery, burglary, and homicide convictions, told police that he was paralyzed after an earlier robbery, when his victim got his gun away from him and shot him with it. (Miami Herald) ...At which point the average person might have figured out that people don’t like to be robbed.
